It's official... I'm on bedrest for the rest of my pregnancy :(
Yesterday at the doctors office we got a bit of a scare, I knew I had started retaining water, but discovered I had actually gain almost 20 lbs in a little over a week. We also discovered a few other symptoms that all pointed toward toxemia. However, after an ultra sound, stress stest and several blood draws, my doctor thinks we can hold off inducing me for a few more weeks. So it's onto the couch to "rest". For those of you who (like me) don't really know what that term fully means. It means you can use the rest room, shower... and that's it. Everything else is supposed to be done for you - yech! I can assure you, the term is quite misleading after only a day and a half of this I am going a bit stir crazy. It's quite hard to watch someone clean or cook and not pitch in. My kids don't quite get it either, but we'll manage... truth be told, I'm happy to know there is an alternative to having Khloe in the NICU - so if any of you amazing gals have some advice or even projects that needs some attention - I'd love to help as long as they are something I can do SITTING DOWN :)
