*sigh*

I'm in a slump! I haven't been to church in a while, strugling in the health department, and just all around frustrated. Gideon doesn't want to go to church anymore, and I don't know why but my disconnect with the spirit has made me feel like giving up. Any Ideas? They boys are so needy all the time (remnants of 'new baby syndrom')and they keep acting out in all kinds of anoying ways. I know it's just temporary, we all get like this occasionally but I hate feeling so tired and out of it!

Is there some magic way to become more patient, closer to the spirit, energetic, and motivated all at the same time? :)sign me up!

Just for laughs

Luca just makes me laugh... he is such a ham. I caught him "sneaking" some juice the other day after telling him (for the umteenth time) "no more juice!" I know I should have been mad but I couldn't help snapping a picture. The evidence of his conquest strewn about his feet :)

Then he came out of his bedroom yesterday wearing this... I laughed so hard as he stalked around the house shooting everyone and being a "super hero" dressed as the last member of the village people.
(it was laundry day...thus the huge mess in the background)
He's been potty training... I died when I went in to check on him (he hadn't said anything for a few minutes) and he'd FALLEN ASLEEP ON THE TOILET!!! It's the little things that really make my life fun! :)

What’s the first color you see in the morning?
white - my in-laws walls are all white :)
but I'd love a master suite with rich charcoal walls all trimmed out with crisp white linens and a pillowy down comforter...ahhh heaven

blue/green - they change with the clothes I wear... and they get crystal blue after I cry
What color do you wear the most?
maybe blue... or brown..earth tones
I love this cute shirt with chuncky belt... anything comfy with a hint of style
What color do you never wear?
Pink...or orange, I just think red heads shouldn't wear colors that make your hair look brassy. And we're fair...light pink washes us out.
What color do you wear when you want to feel sexy?
A red head in a red dress...it's hard to top! I LOVE this one with it's fun details and great shape... some times I kinda wish I could forgo garments
What color gets you the most compliments?
green - it makes my eyes pop and my hair look rich. I love this maxi dress - I'm so glad floor length dresses are back... it's like "princess dresses" for moms!
What color is your lipstick?
Nude - I hear the most flattering color is the color of this inside of your bottom lip. I love the Buxom lipgloss at Norstroms Bare Minerals - soo yummy
What color are your sheets?
White, crisp, 500 thread count and sooo inviting! Theres something so "hotel-esk" about a white bed!
What was your favorite crayon as a child?
Aqua marine- still love this color - reminds me of the ocean.

What color is your car?
Black - but I would totally go for a burnt-orange Nissan Murano
What is your favorite gem stone?
emeralds... yes they are my birthstone, but I think they're beautiful. I also love aqua marines... they remind me of the crystal blue of my kids eyes

What is your favorite flower?
Traditionally I'd say Calla Lillys - sooo beautiful, classic and always elegant... but lately I've been in to the organic earthiness of poppys.
What color makes you happiest?
I'd say the soft hues found in sea glass... they calm me and remind me of warm summer dayz spent gathering treasures on the shore.
What color would you love to try but are scared to?
mmmmm - grass green. I love how alive it makes me feel... but it may not translate in wall color. I just love it...don't you? :) I know this is wicked long... but it was kinda fun to fill out :)

9 amazing years

happy anniversary my love...after 9 years of marriage and 2 DECADES of putting up with me... we're still standing and going strong! I love you baby!He still makes me laugh, and we still talk about EVERYTHING, and still never get bored with each other! I really feel so unbelievably blessed.He's the most amazing father, and has the most incredible sense of loyalty. I've never met ANYONE more dedicated to his family (with the possible exception of my grandfather, and father-in-law...needless to say he is in exceptional company)I know I'm a little mushy, but my love you are the best thing in my life... everything I value, you have made possible. I honestly wouldn't change a thing about our story together, the ups and the downs...thank you for ALL of it! I can't think of ANYONE I'd rather have in my foxhole... and I will ALWAYS be grateful and ALWAYS LOVE YOU!!!
