Ok so I’m pregnant… and not the cute kind of pregnant where you have a nice hard little bump, positively glow and nice strangers hold doors open for you. No – I’m the yucky pregnant where every smell makes you dry heave, you face reminds you of the surface of the moon – craters and all, and strangers look at you side ways as if to say, “just say no to a doughnut women, you’re a cops wife – not a cop!!”
So it should come as no shock that I have been staying a bit cooped up lately, possibly even a bit anti-social. But I was a bit shocked when I finally made it to all 3 sessions of church and found almost everyone in arms length welcoming me back like an apostasized member. All right, alright I admit I ducked out on the Christmas party and what not, and I had to call the relief society pres. to asked what my visiting teaching assignment still was – but I can still take the sacrament – right?! Come on don’t pregnant ladies get a little slack or should I be repenting for missing out on our daily family scripture study etc?

I could never make it through church - even during the last trimester I always had to get up and walk around. I always felt guilty about it but now my RS Pres is pregnant and while she was sick she left after the sacrament was passed and came back for RS! I feel so much better about skipping church and definitely will if I feel sick with the next pregnancy! :)
Now come on Natalie I KNOW you were soooo describing me in your so called self description! HA and I'm not even preganant so what is my excuse! Sooooooo Funny I had a good laugh! Call me and will go get some donuts together K!?
You are funny! Don't beet yourself up. Heck I disapeared from this neighborhood for a year.
I hope you are feeling better. I am feeling your pain. I thought you looked beautiful in church on Sunday if that makes you feel any better.
